Photos of Horses (Shadai Stallion Station)

Recently, I have photographed some horses in a breeding facility, known as Shadai Stallion Station (社台スタリオンステーション Shadai Sutarion Sutēshon), that I found when searching for a cow farm.
Initially, this is the kind of picture (or probably video or timelapse) that I intend to capture:
A bunch of Holstein cattle walks on a hill of meadow, with green grass and yellow flowers (the dandelion flower), against a blue sky with white clouds; To me, these are the elements that make a perfect picture. Sadly though this one is cropped from a snapshot I made while in a car drove by a friend (on the way back from this trip). So the resolution is very small.

Well, back to the horse story, there were more different postures from the horses this time compared to the one at Urakawa. At least they are not so busy eating, but to run around probably because of to the present of the small horses that are very energetic.
You may not believe it but all photos were actually taken through the fence like the one below. Well this is a kind of magic in photography - when you shoot with a telephoto lens any objects that are really close to the lens become invisible.

Dandelion 蒲公英

Dandelion, not an easy-to-remember name for me. I need to google it every time when trying to retrieve the name. And one very handy feature of google.com is that you don't have to key in an exact spelling, it will suggest the closest match to you. Or else how do I find it when I can't key in the word?
Anyway, back to the topic dandelion, it's something I eager to photograph since the last two years. It is hard to believe, but I'd missed the chance due to really tight research schedule back then.
For people who never live in a place with four seasons, this probably didn't make any sense. Because you might think that it grows throughout the year, so no matter how busy, I should be able to squeeze up one single day for shooting right? Unfortunately no, that is not the case. Here in Hokkaido, it can only be found from late May until late June (roughly about a month). Then you start to see other types of flower. For the whole short springtime, the species that grow and bloom keep changing like fashion models take their turn on a stage. If you miss a type of flower, you need to wait another year for it. TWO YEARS in my case!!
Finally, here are some of it that I found right in front of the block where I am staying (Soen dormitory).
The best time to shoot seem like in the morning, and unshaded sunlight is important to bring out the furry feel

The one below was during late evening, the light seems a bit warm and strong.
In Malaysia, it is so hard to find a 'photogenic' dandelion. We have only some smaller species. Therefore I sometime feel like Hokkaido is a heaven for people who love nature photography.
